These fish were caught off the coast of Southern California where stocks are healthy and monitored closely. The Bluefin was caught by hook & line and the Swordfish by harpoon which are the most sustainable and thoughtful methods for catching these fish. Both result in no bycatch or habitat destruction.

This is seafood you can feel about feeding yourself and your family! For those considering mercury consumption, consumption of these fish are safe once per week for adults and children 6 years and older.

Set up your own stash of sustainably-caught Bluefin & Swordfish fillets and belly to enjoy all year! 

We’ll store them in our sub-zero freezer so you don’t have to. When you'd like some released, simply email us and we'll send it with your next delivery or in bulk direct to your home! Available immediately.

Why these fish are an excellent choice:
Bluefin Tuna -  The Bluefin Tuna was caught by hook & line, where each fish is caught one by one with no bycatch or habitat destruction or excess. Tuna stocks in Southern California are closely monitored and managed and stock numbers are healthy.  We recommend to enjoy it raw as sushi, sashimi, or poke, or very lightly seared. 
 
Swordfish -  The Swordfish was caught by harpoon, a time honored art and method of fishing where each fish is singularly targeted and caught, eliminating chances of bycatch. Harpoon boats return to port each day, rather than staying out months at a time, which can be a common practice on larger boats, resulting in the best quality! Swordfish is excellent on the grill, broiled or baked in foil, or braised with flavorful ingredients.
