Two weeks ago, Israel was brutally attacked by Hamas, a barbaric terrorist organization.

This horrific tragedy has resulted in the deaths of thousands, including over 30 Americans to date.

During my two decades of service in the U.S. Navy, I saw firsthand how crucial U.S. support for Israel was for regional stability and America's own national security.

Now, it is up to Congress to back our ally and show that the United States stands with Israel.

Introduced Legislation to Deport Hamas Sympathizers

Earlier this week, I introduced a resolution alongside Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) that sends a clear message to visa holders in the U.S. who support the actions of Hamas  you have no place in America, and you will be deported.

This resolution calls on the Biden administration to revoke the visas of any foreign national who endorses or espouses activity in support of Hamas or any other foreign terrorist organization.

Secured $3 Billion for Security Assistance to Israel

Congress and the Biden administration need to be prepared to provide Israel with the resources it needs to defend itself from future attacks by Hamas and other terrorist groups.

That's why I requested a total of $3.3 billion in security assistance funding for Israel as part of the State & Foreign Operations Appropriations package that passed the House earlier this year.

The Senate needs to pass this bill immediately – our greatest ally in the Middle East deserves our unwavering support.

Stopping Terrorist Activity at Our Southern Border

This month, four Iranian nationals have been apprehended at the southern border by Border Patrol Agents, with three of them being caught in Eagle Pass. In total, 151 individuals on the FBI's terror watchlist have been encountered by Border Patrol Agents this year alone  an all-time high.

Enough is enough.

Our border is being used as a welcome mat for criminals from all over the world, with our broken asylum process acting as the spare key to let them in.

We cannot allow our communities to be left defenseless against potential foreign bad actors.

International Travel Warning

This week, the U.S. Department of State issued a global travel warning for Americans planning to travel overseas. While the State Department is not issuing a ban on international travel at this time, the alert does specify that Americans should stay aware of their surroundings in tourist-heavy locations.

If you are currently outside of the United States or plan on traveling outside of the country soon, please be proactive in case of emergency and fill out the Department of State's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) form. In the event of an emergency during your travel, this form makes it easier for the State Department to locate you and keep you up to date on the latest information you need to know.
