Now that another week has passed without the House choosing a new Speaker, a government shutdown is one week nearer.
Behind the scenes, the statists in D.C. are all pushing backroom deals for the flurry of action that will begin the moment a new Speaker is chosen and legislation can start moving again.
You may already know the Biden administration is asking for another $106 BILLION for Ukraine and Israel (mostly Ukraine) with a “smattering” of these funds for the border.
We already know there is going to be another budget battle on top of that big Biden request – and typically, with budget bills more than anything else, everyone stuffs in everything they can, knowing members won’t even have time to read the bill before voting on it.
The pressure on Congress to make a deal – any deal – and rush it through Congress will be intense.
The most current and likely threat in the near future is a National ID scheme.
Many House Republicans are insisting it be included with any border security issue. A few Democrats will whine that it’s “anti-immigrant,” but leadership has always supported it, and the rank-and-file will fall in line.
So you and I must act, and we need to act NOW.
That’s why it’s so important you sign your NO NATIONAL ID, NO DATABASE Directive right away.
You see, some misguided Republicans are insisting any deal with the Democrats should include the mandatory National ID/Database scheme that would track all American citizens.
They're hoping after a drawn-out fight to choose a new House Speaker they can immediately declare a budget “emergency,” stuff the National ID proposal into the budget, and pass it before anyone even knows it happened.
Getting Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to agree to a new National ID/Database scheme might not take much convincing.
After all, Schumer and his statist pals all wholeheartedly supported “vaccine passports” – and a National ID system would make this scheme even easier to implement.
Their ultimate dream is for the federal government to monitor every single activity of each American citizen.
After all, if the federal government can use a massive database to ensure you have federal permission to hold a job, they can use it for anything!
Make no mistake, a National ID/Database scheme will increase the federal government’s power to monitor and control you.
Your personal information – including “biometric identifiers” – would be stored in a national database.
This database could eventually include virtually any information nosy government bureaucrats want to know about you, including gun ownership, employment history, purchasing habits, family and friends, love interests, health records, travel, religious beliefs, political contributions, and more!
This dangerous scheme would ultimately require all Americans to carry an ID that would:
*** Require biometric identification information. That could include everything from fingerprints and
retinal scans, to scans of veins on the back of hands, which could easily be used for tracking;
*** Be required for all U.S. workers - regardless of place of birth. In other words, it would be illegal for anyone to hold a job in the United States who doesn’t obtain this ID. The cost to small business owners just seeking to comply with the law would be crushing;
*** Require all employers to purchase an “ID scanner” to verify the ID with the federal government. Every time any citizen applies for a job, the government would know - and you can bet it’s only a matter of time until “ID scans” will be required to make even routine purchases.
*** Be required for all U.S. workers - regardless of place of birth. In other words, it would be illegal for anyone to hold a job in the United States who doesn’t obtain this ID. The cost to small business owners just seeking to comply with the law would be crushing;
*** Require all employers to purchase an “ID scanner” to verify the ID with the federal government. Every time any citizen applies for a job, the government would know - and you can bet it’s only a matter of time until “ID scans” will be required to make even routine purchases.
A National ID scheme would be the final piece that transforms America into a total surveillance state.
But we’ve beaten back this National ID scheme before and we can do so again if you and I mobilize immediately and stay active for as long as it takes!

I know I have asked a lot of you recently.
But we are battling back against the statists on multiple fronts – from stopping outrageous budget bills and unprecedented Ukraine spending supported by members of BOTH parties, to getting a bill to BAN the Central Bank Digital Currency through Congress, to fighting off the First Amendment-shredding RESTRICT Act.

With everything already on our plate, we were not planning to fight another battle against a National ID/Database scheme. But it’s become a major threat in the GOP led House and it was already thrown into one of the budget bills.
Imagine how government bureaucrats could and would use the power to determine who can, and cannot, hold a job in the United States based on information stored in a federal database?
Of course, we are told that this will only be used to keep “illegal immigrants” from getting a job. But it’s YOUR data that will be in the system and it’s YOU who will be required to carry the ID.
And for those who think we have nothing to fear because this will only be used to verify your “right” to work, we were also told:
1) “The income tax would only apply to the wealthiest Americans;”
2) “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor;”
3) “The PATRIOT Act will only be used to stop terrorists” – when in fact PATRIOT Act provisions are routinely used for purposes that have NOTHING to do with stopping terrorism.
You can see why we must fight back against this new National ID scheme with everything we have.
But with so many other challenges and opportunities facing us, I’m afraid I just don’t have the resources on-hand to devote to this battle.
