John,
Last night, Maine voters turned out in higher than anticipated numbers. This is great news! Mainers -- and voters in Super Tuesday states across the country -- also sent a resounding message to our country’s leaders: We want Medicare for All.
According to exit polls, 69% of Mainers prefer a government plan for all instead of private insurance.
John, the message is clear. Healthcare is a human right and it’s time our government listens to the People.
As you know, Betsy is the only leading candidate in this race who supports Medicare for All. If we are going to replace Susan Collins with someone who will actually work for policies Mainers overwhelmingly support, there really is only one choice.
Will you chip in for Betsy now?
Whatever the results of the presidential election in November, we need fighters on our side in Congress. Betsy has spent a lifetime getting things done. With Democrats, with Republicans and every combination of the two. She is smart as hell, persistent, and can get people to “yes” like no other. She will be key to us getting Medicare for All.
John, Mainers need a U.S. Senator who has the backbone to take on Big Pharma and Big Money and the heart to always fight for what the people of Maine need. We need Betsy in Congress.
Will you chip in today to ensure Betsy can have our backs Washington?
With Maine’s presidential primary over, we can now focus our full attention on the task before us: Removing Susan Collins from office and electing Betsy Sweet as the next U.S. Senator from Maine. But we’ll need your help to do it.
Betsy refuses dark money, and she relies on grassroots support of everyday people like you to fuel this campaign for progressive change.
Our primary is on June 9th, just a few months away, John, and it will take all of us coming together to do what Washington corporate interests are telling us is not possible.
With your help, Betsy and I both know we will make the impossible, possible.
All my best,
Michael Rosenow
