In her time there, Minnesota's Tina Smith has been a terrific ally in the Senate. She's a voice for women's reproductive health care, curbing our nation's gun violence epidemic, and standing up to Donald Trump's efforts to gut our social safety net. We know that Republicans are going to give it all they've got to defeat her. Let's have her back.

Iowa's Theresa Greenfield has worked hard her entire life. Her story is heart-wrenching and inspiring: her first husband passed away in an accident at his union electrical job. Theresa credits our country's safety net to keeping her family afloat while she rebuilt her life in the months and years that followed. Theresa is committed to taking on Donald Trump, rebuilding America's middle class, and fixing our broken health care system - and that's why dark money groups are pouring money into Iowa to defeat her. Our movement has to respond.

Think we can't win in Kansas? Think again. Democrats won the governor's office in 2018 because the people of Kansas were sick of empty promises and extreme policies. History can repeat itself in 2020, but this one's going to be tough. Good thing we have a terrific candidate in Barbara Bollier--who will be an advocate for public education, the right to choose, access to affordable health care, and responsible government. We can absolutely win this one.
