Introducing Spark Birds with Orion Magazine and Audubon

Join us on Wednesday, November 8 at 1 p.m. ET ([link removed]) for a free virtual book release of Spark Birds ([link removed]), a new anthology that gathers the best stories, essays, and poems about birds from forty years of Orion Magazine. Featuring Elizabeth Kolbert and Emily Raboteau in conversation with Audubon’s Vice President of Content, Jennifer Bogo, learn about their contributions to the anthology, the work of bird conservancy, and their own spark birds.

Co-edited and introduced by Jonathan Franzen, Spark Birds ([link removed]) features owls, cranes, thrushes, finches, penguins, petrels, and buzzards—and the people who love them, including Brian Doyle, John Freeman, Elizabeth Kolbert, J. Drew Lanham, Mary Oliver, Emily Raboteau, Sandra Steingraber, and Terry Tempest Williams.

Spark your own imagination ([link removed])—come celebrate the release of Orion Magazine’s latest anthology, Spark Birds!
