Republican legislators in NC are using taxpayer dollars to fund “crisis pregnancy centers” – anti-choice organizations that pretend to support women, but use manipulative tactics and outright lie to people seeking information about abortion.

Over $20 MILLION is being funneled to these fake clinics in our state budget. Instead of having this money go towards programs that actually help women, it’s going towards groups that deliberately mislead women, take away their choices, and can even endanger their health.

These centers have little to no accountability, John. Most crisis pregnancy centers do not have any medical licensing – making them factories of misinformation.
