Friend, I must confess something…
I love my wife. I love my children. I love being a father and a husband.
Frankly, after nearly losing my life to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan, I
love every single day I have on God’s green earth.
But, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to serve others with every day I have
left without two things…
God and the American Dream.

This is why I’m running for Senate. To protect the country and the values
that I love so dearly from the radical left’s policies quickly eroding the
American Dream.

Love of country isn’t something that’s a given anymore, even in the hearts and
minds of our politicians. But it’s ALWAYS been in my veins.

It was instilled in me at a very young age every time I watched my father put
on his uniform to serve.
It’s why I stepped up to put on a uniform of my own and join the Army,
deploying to Afghanistan to defend our American values and be a beacon of hope
and freedom.
It’s why I didn’t allow 30 surgeries in my recovery from the explosion that
almost took my life to derail my life’s mission of service.

Who am I and what am I supposed to do!?
Those were the most difficult questions I was forced to ask myself after my
vehicle ran over a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
I didn’t know who I was after I was medically retired from the Military… After
I took my uniform off for the last time.
My uniform had been a symbol of service and sacrifice that I had always known
from the days I spent admiring my father.
But it turns out that was just the first part of my story.
Today, I know who I am: I’m a father that wants my children to grow up living
in a better America than I did.
I’m a husband that always puts my family first.
I’m a Nevadan that sees the hard work and dedication the people of our state
embody every single day.
And now I’m ready to be a voice for you, the American people.
