This is ridiculous, John.
It’s been over two weeks, and Republicans still cannot get their act together to elect their next House speaker. Honestly, it would be comical if it wasn’t so devastating for our nation and democracy. We have less than one month to get to work and come up with a deal to avert a government shutdown, but the Republican chaos has made any progress impossible. It’s clear we need a bipartisan agreement to move forward to avoid disaster. Republicans are simply unfit to govern.
