On Thursday, a U.S. District Court issued a dangerous decision to strike down California’s decades-old assault weapons ban.

This is a major step backward in our fight to protect Californians from the gun violence epidemic, and could potentially open the door for assault weapons to flood our communities.

Rob immediately jumped into action and filed an appeal to challenge this misguided decision. The ban on purchasing, transferring, and possessing assault weapons will remain in effect while this legal case is further reviewed.
