President Obama just weighed in on Ohio’s upcoming elections – and we wanted to make sure you saw what he had to say:

President Obama is right: It’s critical that we rally right now in support of protecting abortion rights in Ohio.

If we succeed on Election Day – now just a few short weeks away – it’ll mean that the full range of reproductive rights will be protected under the Ohio Constitution.

That doesn’t just mean abortion care: It also means contraception, IVF, miscarriage management, and much more. It means nothing less than patients being able to make the healthcare choices that are right for them, with their doctors and without input from right-wing politicians.

But if we fall short, Republicans could be able to enforce one of the most extreme bans in the country – a ban that last year forced people to leave the state to seek care, or forego it altogether, with devastating consequences. It’s wrong for Ohio, and it’s wrong for our country.
