Today, I’m asking you for just $3, and I’ll give 3 reasons why I need to ask for your help.

ONE: Our campaign relies on grassroots support. It’s the folks who give $5 or $35 at a time that power this campaign. You give us the resources to hold events across the state, reach voters through TV and digital ads, and build the aggressive ground game we’ll need to reach every voter in NC.

TWO: This race will be incredibly close. State-wide races in NC typically are — and now, the polls are showing it too. Not to mention, most major election forecasters have rated our race a “toss-up.” In a campaign this competitive, having the resources we need to reach voters makes all the difference.

THREE: The stakes have never been higher. Our fundamental freedoms and the very foundations of our democracy are on the line — like fair maps, access to the ballot box, and reproductive freedom. We can’t let extremist Republicans win the Governor’s Office and continue to dismantle the very institutions of our democracy and strip us of our liberties.

I know $3 may not sound like it can make a big impact, but if every person who opens this email chips in just $3, together, your collective support can power this campaign for the long haul.
