Hello Burdick for Congress supporters,

First, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and volunteer efforts. You should be tremendously proud of your passion for real, principled change in our politics. While so many others espouse strong progressive, environmental and worker-/voter-first positions, you truly walk the talk, and actions always mean more than words.

In my primary race, it appears no more than half of the votes have been counted so far, and we apparently won't get another update until Friday afternoon. (You can track at this link.)<[link removed]> Based on the initial vote count, I have quite a deficit to make up to finish second. So while there is a chance that this could happen and fingers remain crossed, I must concede it will be a steep climb.

If this situation changes, I will let you know, but please know how much I appreciate everyone's efforts. I am proud to have run so hard these past 9 months, but it would have been twice as hard without your support and enthusiasm.
