Supporter,
Once an animal lands on the endangered species list, there are only two ways to be removed. One: we can invest in conservation efforts, restore habitats, and do what it takes to help populations recover. Two: extinction.
This week, 21 unique, precious, irreplaceable species were wiped from the list, including the little Mariana fruit bat and Bachman’s warbler. They are gone for good, and our planet is diminished by their loss.
We must do better for the thousands of species that have been pushed to the brink: we will pressure our leaders to permanently protect wildlife habitat, strengthen Endangered Species Act protections, and ramp up programs that fight climate change with clean, renewable energy.
But we don’t have any time to lose–we’re looking for 100 donations in the next 24 hours to support our efforts.

PROTECT ENDANGERED SPECIES
We are in the midst of an escalating crisis that threatens the future of wildlife from the Florida panther to the North Atlantic Right whale. As climate change puts new pressures on animals that have already suffered from poaching, pollution, and demolished habitat, we risk losing even more biodiversity. Meanwhile, corporations are relentlessly pushing to drill, log, and pave the land these species need to survive.
These species can’t afford delays — we must act with urgency and commitment if we want to preserve a future for them.

Will you be one of the 100 new monthly donors we need by tomorrow?
Together, we can protect and restore the forests that provide a home and refuge to wildlife. We can reconnect the green spaces and wildlife corridors that have been shredded over decades of development. We can

invest in conservation efforts, restore habitats, and do what it takes to help populations recover.
Or, we can accept the second path off the endangered species list, again and again, as the losses pile up.
Thank you for taking a stand for wildlife, and for everything you do to protect our planet.
