Subsequent evidence revealed that the actual cause was a rocket fired by the Iran-funded Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Cotler-Wunsh also expressed her concerns about organizations like the United Nations. She urged them to stand against such "genocidal terror" narratives and to recognize the true sources of these tragedies.
