Hi team,
Last week, Congress adjourned for the next month to give members a chance to go to their home districts and talk to constituents directly.
We’re really proud that Anthony Brindisi just held his 9th Town Hall this year at Pulaski High School in NY-22!
Anthony made a promise to voters when he was elected that he wouldn’t hide his record, and would actually show up to listen to the working families of NY-22 every chance he has. He’s taking their feedback and concerns straight back to Congress, because he was elected to be a public servant -- not to play partisan political games and engage in the gridlock culture of Washington.
So many important issues were discussed, including his bill to help prevent veteran suicides, his efforts to permanently protect our heroes through the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund, and local water issues caused by Lake Ontario.
Everyone was given a chance to ask questions, because Anthony knows he has a responsibility to give every resident of NY-22 the opportunity to be heard by their member of Congress. It’s the best way we can keep our elected officials accountable.
If you have a moment today, please read the news about our last town hall, and consider attending one yourself if you haven’t already! You can click below to read all about it. >>
Thank you for taking the time today!
-- Team Brindisi
