PowerPAC is gearing up for another “bloody season” of electoral competition. From Louisiana to Florida to Wisconsin back to California, PowerPAC is gearing up to take it to the “Man.” ( Sorry to show my age but I haven’t completely picked up on the new lingo.)
Our teams are deep in research and analysis, strategy development, and network building to execute powerbuilding strategies that can help us turn the tide of alt-Right insurrection. We have unfinished business in Wisconsin where we engaged with 150K voters to boost elections last cycle. We want to increase this voter targeting by another 100K.
We see you North Carolina, a hotbed of conservative suppression and misdirection where most key elections are decided by a few percentage points. Republicans have maintained control through manipulation of rules and suppression, winning elections by the narrowest margins based on fear, hatred (anti-lgbtq+ and racist rhetoric), and the undermining of democratic elections. This is a hotbed of opportunity to engage with progressive voters, energize them and boost voting for progressive issues and candidates.
Arizona will be a major target for Right-wing strategies to suppress our most progressive allies and divide us along lines of hate, taking advantage of our country’s economic chaos and increasing gaps between haves and have nots. The Senate race will be a target and our work with grassroots collaborators will be critical to winning that state for Senate and President in 2024.
And we hope to impact a few more states such as MI, FL, GA, LA, NV, MS, and even TX. We are finding great partners in the environmental movement around divestment in Fossil Fuels (CA - more on this to come), fighting corruption and for environmental justice in FL. Aligning ourselves with Crooked Media and their Vote Save America work as they build their political giving [[link removed]] . And, supporting People for the American Way’s Defend the Black Vote [[link removed]] campaign.
We will fight. And we will win.
