Friend,
We all have our moment of reckoning.
Mine came sooner than most, at 24 years old.
In 2008, I found myself moments from death while deployed in Afghanistan when
a roadside bomb detonated under my vehicle.

Since then, I’ve never taken the easy road.
In fact, I’ve embraced the most difficult paths.
Not because I’m a hero, but because I’ll never take another day, another
challenge for granted.
That’s also why I’m running for Senate, Friend. And why I’m reaching out to
you today.

You see, just like every other challenge I've faced in this world, taking back
the Senate won't be easy.
The reality is, if we fail to win Nevada, all hope of a Republican Senate will

Who am I and what am I supposed to do!?
Those were the most difficult questions I was forced to ask myself after my
vehicle ran over a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
I didn’t know who I was after I was medically retired from the Military… After
I took my uniform off for the last time.
My uniform had been a symbol of service and sacrifice that I had always known
from the days I spent admiring my father.
But it turns out that was just the first part of my story.
Today, I know who I am: I’m a father that wants my children to grow up living
in a better America than I did.
I’m a husband that always puts my family first.
I’m a Nevadan that sees the hard work and dedication the people of our state
embody every single day.
And now I’m ready to be a voice for you, the American people.
