John, Election Day is fewer than 20 days away. All eyes are on Virginia — and for good reason.
For the first time since Roe was overturned, the entire General Assembly is on the ballot, and Virginia Republicans are vowing to implement a 15-week abortion ban if they gain a GOP trifecta in November. If they do, people across the entire South could lose access to abortion care and their right to bodily autonomy.
But together, we can fight back and protect abortion access by sending resources to five of our most critical candidates: Michael Feggans, Travis Nembhard, Russet Perry, Schuyler VanValkenburg, and Joshua Cole.
Virginia is the LAST safe haven for abortion care in the region. But MAGA Republicans like Governor Glenn Youngkin are throwing everything and the kitchen sink to try and change that — including unleashing a $1.4 million ad buy pushing the narrative that the GOP’s 15-week abortion ban is “moderate” to sway swing voters.
Schuyler's tweet says it all:
Virginia is the next abortion battleground — and in an election with stakes this high, we can’t leave anything on the table.
