We hope you have had a great week! Congressman Kim enjoyed visits around the community early this week to talk about ways he can further support local healthcare services and access to mental health resources.

Unfortunately in Washington, the House Republican majority continues to fail to elect a Speaker of the House. For the American people, the health of our democracy, and our global leadership, Congressman Kim continues to push for an immediate, bipartisan, and common sense path forward to return to legislative business.

Congressman Kim Hosts Security Briefing for New Jersey Interfaith Leaders

It is our priority to keep everyone safe and protect the right to worship without fear or threat of violence. We remain firmly committed to combating all forms of antisemitism, islamophobia, and hate in our communities.

This week, Congressman Kim brought together local interfaith leaders, the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, and other experts to discuss safety protocols and tools to protect our community. You can watch the full conversation on our YouTube page here.

Congressman Kim Speaks with CONTACT of Mercer County

Congressman Kim continues to work to break down the stigmas around mental health and knows that critical mental health support comes in all different forms.

From a daily reassurance call for seniors to a direct help hotline, CONTACT of Mercer County has been there to help our community for almost 50 years. Congressman Kim was grateful to catch up with them this week to discuss ways to support their important work providing mental health support to New Jersey.

Congressman Kim Tours The Arc of Mercer County

The Arc of Mercer County delivers a variety of services and programs to neighbors with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This week, Congressman Kim had the chance to tour their facility and speak to the incredible staff who serve and care for our community every day.

Congratulations to JBMDL and the 305th Air Mobility Wing on Sean’s Room

Last week, the Joint Base celebrated the official opening of Sean’s Room at the 305th Air Mobility Wing's Passenger Terminal.

Sean’s Room provides peer mental health support for airmen and local servicemembers across all branches of the military. This will be the newest mental health resource available to members at the joint base.

Reducing stigma and expanding mental healthcare access for our servicemembers and the whole community is so important. This program is a leading example of how we can deliver more people the help they need, when they need it.

Open: Congressional App Challenge for Middle and High Schoolers

Do you know a young, aspiring computer scientist? Registration for the 2023 Congressional App Challenge is open! The challenge is an incredible annual opportunity for local middle and high school students to show off their STEM skills.
