It's been 17 days, and we still don't have a Speaker. Right-wing extremists pushed for Jim Jordan - the far-right Ohio Congressman who fought diligently to overturn the 2020 election results. 

After Jordan was unable to get the votes, the GOP can't find an alternative because they've given too much control to their extremist wing, and of course - they refuse to work with Democrats to find a solution. 

Because of their antics, the GOP has held up aid to Israel and Ukraine. Critical appropriation bills cannot come to the floor until they find a common sense solution. 

They're also winding down the clock on another government shutdown which is less than one month away at the moment. They are putting VA benefits, Social Security, Medicare and more critical programs at risk. 

These are partisan games that hurt the American people.
