John,
As I’m writing this, I’m on my flight home to Arizona after a busy week in the Senate. I’m looking forward to seeing Gabby and to enjoying the weather in Tucson (a beautiful 94 degrees).
But first, I had to make a quick pit stop in Dallas to help out a friend of mine.
There’s a big Senate race coming up in Texas, and my friend, Colin Allred, is running to beat Ted Cruz and protect our Senate majority.
A lot of folks will say that’s a difficult race to win. They said that about Arizona, too.
So, on my way home, I swung by the Dallas County Democratic Party’s biggest event of the year — and spoke to 800 fired up Texans about the opportunity they have to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and flip this U.S. Senate seat.
We could really use your help on this mission too, John. It’s going to be a competitive race. And right now, polls show Colin just 5 points down with 14% of voters undecided.

The captain just turned on the seatbelt sign — looks like we’re landing. I’ll wrap this up quickly by saying we couldn’t do this without your help, and I’m so grateful for your support.
Thanks again and talk soon,
Mark
