I believe that the people closest to the pain should be closest to the power, driving and informing the policymaking.
That’s why, since day one, this movement has been about the people. It’s about the working parents who wince every time they look down at their grocery receipt. The seniors whose Social Security is constantly under threat by extremist Republicans. The millions of people who are about to make their first student loan payments in over three years.
This movement is about you. So I want to hear directly from you — about what issues you’re worried about, or what kind of policies inspire you.
So can you please take a moment to complete our short survey and let me know what issues are on your mind? Your thoughts will shape the work I’m doing in Congress to craft policies that go as broad and as deep as the hurt our communities are feeling.
Your opinion will inform our vision as we fight for the bold, systemic changes we need to move our country forward. As House Republicans continue to debate which extremist they should nominate as Speaker, I’m going to stay focused on what I can do for you as your Congresswoman.
I look forward to reading your responses.
Yours in service,
Ayanna
