Isaiah 40:1-2

Dear John:

Since the October 7 massacre of more than 1400 Israelis by evil Islamist terrorists from Hamas, I’ve seen American Christians ask why they should care about Israel.

The Answer is Simple: because God commands you to!

Sure, you’ve probably seen abundant Bible verses such as Genesis 12:3 and Isaiah 60:12 referenced.

But both the New and Old Testament commands you to honor God’s chosen!

Paul says in Romans 11:28 that God’s gift and call on Israel has not been revoked.

And Israel is the land that was promised to the Jews by God in Amos 8:14-15.

That’s why, as a Jew living in Israel, I’m asking you to bless God’s Children in our time of need.

Can I count on you to follow God’s command and to help the people of Israel?

The people fleeing their homes from Hamas’ barrage of rockets and inhuman attacks need your help. Isaiah 40:1-2 commands us to:

Comfort, comfort my people says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

That’s where you can help. The Genesis 123 Foundation is assisting the refugees who have been evacuated from Sderot and other Gaza border area communities to Jerusalem and other parts of Israel.

They need food, clothes, and lodging while they wait for the war to end. There are soldiers who don’t have enough socks, underwear, tactical supplies, or even body armor.

If we are blessed with your support, we will continue to aid, assist, comfort, and provide for all of them, but we can’t do it alone.

That’s why we need your URGENT support to fulfill our mission in Israel today.
