FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Skagit County Solid Waste to Host Home Composting Work Shops
Join the Skagit County Solid Waste team to learn to turn yard and garden debris and even kitchen food scraps into rich, soil amending compost for your lawn and garden. Compost helps break up clay soils, drain and retain water, and feed your soils naturally over the long term.
All workshops will be held at the WSU Discovery Garden located at 16650 WA-536, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 (off Memorial Hwy). Workshops do not require pre-registration to attend. All workshops will be hosted rain or shine.
