1:1 conversations are our key tool to fight disinformation relating to the Inflation Reduction Act.

Indivisibles,

After months of Indivisibles spreading the word about the incredible benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), we wanted to know which tactics have been the most effective, and the results are clear: 1:1 conversations are our key tool to fight disinformation relating to the Inflation Reduction Act. Tactics where Indivisibles are able to directly connect with their neighbors -- like community tabling and canvassing -- were some of our most successful ways to get out the word about the ways this legislation is creating millions of good-paying, union jobs, keeping money in the pockets of our hard working families, and ushering in a clean energy future.

And folks want to hear this good news! We learned that the overwhelming response from community members during our IRA celebration events was one of happy surprise: Most people didn’t know about the benefits, and when they hear about them, they’re more optimistic and engaged. Taking the time to have conversations with individuals and providing facts about how the IRA is making life easier for millions of Americans is both energizing and effective -- and we want to scale up these powerful conversations.

That’s why next week, on October 25 during our standing monthly Truth Brigade’s Call, we are teaching folks how to use our newest tool: Neighbor2Neighbor

Join us to learn more about Neighbor2Neighbor!

Neighbor2Neighbor is a great tool for connecting with your community and celebrating the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act through educational conversations. You don’t need to download an app, and there is no all-day commitment -- just short, friendly conversations with a few friendly people close to you.

The tool is designed for volunteers of all skill levels, from first-time action takers to seasoned group leaders. These gentle talks with your neighbors can make a big impact, and fight the spread of disinformation relating to clean energy, affordable healthcare, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Join our kickoff call for this program on Oct 25th at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT where you will learn how to talk to your neighbors, and celebrate the IRA’s historic investment in clean energy and affordable healthcare.

On the call, we will provide you with training to use our new tool and all the materials you need to be successful canvassing your neighborhood. We will direct you to a map of persuadable neighbors near you who might not know about the Inflation Reduction Act. Then, you just knock on your neighbors' doors and talk to them about all the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act.

Communities across the country will benefit from the progress of the Inflation Reduction Act. That’s why it’s so important you have these meaningful conversations with your neighbors. If people don’t know about the IRA, they won’t learn about how to access the benefits relating to it, ultimately missing out on money in their pockets and so much more. And they won’t see the tangible impacts that can be achieved when we have an active, inclusive government committed to solving challenges and working for us all.

That’s why there’s never been a better time to get involved and show your support. Commit to do what you can to spread the good news about the IRA with others -- like joining our call on October 25. We can’t do all this work without you.

In solidarity,
