They applauded the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade

A third Republican challenger officially announced his campaign to unseat me.

You read that correctly. Three Republican candidates -- with more than a year left until the election. This latest one applauded the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade and ripping away the right to an abortion from millions of women.

National Republicans have already launched bad-faith attacks against our campaign -- and it’s only a matter of time before they handpick a candidate to throw millions of dollars behind.

That’s why it’s so important we see a strong showing of grassroots support in these first 48 hours to prove we have the momentum to hold this battleground district.

I attended the PCCC's National Candidate Training and flipped this district blue in 2018. I won re-election by just 2 points in the last presidential election year, but I have never been afraid to challenge powerful interests.

In Congress, I've fought Big Pharma and Big Oil -- and I was a leader pushing for the full Build Back Better agenda including child care, Child Tax Credits, Medicare expansion, and taxing the ultra-wealthy.

Republicans have made it clear flipping Minnesota’s 2nd congressional district is key to their strategy to not just defend -- but expand -- their House majority. If we’re going to take back the House in 2024, it’s absolutely critical that we defend this seat.

We are gearing up for a competitive, expensive race. After all, Republican groups spent more than $13.5 million to try to unseat me in the midterms. You can bet they’ll ramp up their spending this year with their House majority on the line.

We need to bring in resources now to gain a competitive edge against our opponents -- who all represent the far-right ideologies of the Republican Party.

That’s why I’m asking you urgently: Can we count on you to split a donation of $3 or more between my campaign's Challenger Response Fund and the Progressive Change Campaign Comittee today?

Thank you for showing up for this campaign at this critical moment. We know from experience that when we come together, we win.

-- Rep. Angie Craig, Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District
