In the past week, day, or even hour, I’m sure you’ve come across the term “Bidenomics” – whether in a newspaper article, on television, or even on a local or national radio station. The Democrats have attempted to spin this failed ideology as something positive. However, let me sum it up for you in six short words: You pay more and get less. Case in point, a family of four in America is now paying $15,133 per year, or $1,261 per month more than when President Biden first stepped into office. This is all thanks to “Bidenomics” – it’s an outcome that the American people simply cannot afford to live with.
Now, when President Biden attempts to sell his agenda to the American people, he often refers to issues discussed by families who are sitting around a kitchen table – or even the dinner table. What he fails to acknowledge, however, is how his very own policies have made it tougher for families to put food on their own tables. Here are a few short examples from the House Budget Committee to illustrate the detrimental effects of “Bidenomics” that have persisted since he first took office:
- Butter, fats and oil prices are up 32.0 percent.
- Bakery prices are up 26.5 percent.
- Poultry prices are up 25.0 percent.
- Beef prices are up 21.9 percent.
- Egg prices are up 21.2 percent.
What about energy affordability for American families thanks to “Bidenomics”? According to the House Budget Committee, the average family of four:
- Is paying an additional $1,436 per year for gasoline.
- Is paying an additional $70 per year for fuel oil.
- Is paying an additional $125 per year to purchase natural gas.
- Is paying an additional $448 per year to purchase electricity.
It will come as no surprise to you that Washington Democrats are now backpedaling on their support for this failed plan. House Republicans have said for years that “Bidenomics” does not work for Americans – and the numbers certainly prove us right.
Our Nation’s Greatest Threat
As you may know, I’m an avid reader – and I’m always looking for new information to share with you that will provide perspective on important issues. I’ve recently come across an article in the Washington Times that sheds more light on the serious national security threat at our nation’s southern border. In the days following the 9/11 anniversary, the Department of Homeland Security quietly released its 2024 Homeland Threat Assessment that received little, if any, coverage. In this article, authors Chad Wolf and Robert Law pick apart this assessment and dispel the Biden administration’s narrative that our border is secure. This article is well worth a read.
