Bernie Sanders delivered an address in Washington to pitch his radical agenda... claiming that socialism is the right prescription for America and that Americans will be "delighted" to pay more taxes to fund his socialist schemes.

This may be true in some liberal enclaves on the coasts - but I can assure you, it is NOT the prescription that Nebraskans want and we DO NOT support higher taxes!

He believes his "brand" of socialism is the pathway to defeating President Trump.

So, is his stand based on principle... or it really all just about the left's unhinged hatred of President Trump, and their desire to win greater political power in Washington?

We've seen how socialism has worked in reality, over the course of many decades.

Today, we can look to Venezuela, where socialism has resulted in skyrocketing inflation, food shortages, and widespread violence.
