“The OCA Summer Internship Program was a life-changing experience. Although I didn’t get in on my first attempt at applying to the internship program, I didn’t give up. I applied again, and I am very glad I did! OCA opened up a whole new world of possibilities and experiences, both professional and social, that I had never had access to before. This program made me more confident in my identity as an Asian American in the workforce and provided me with tools and connections that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.”
- Aalaya Gurram, American University placed at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association

“The OCA Summer Internship Program was a fantastic internship program that helped students of AANHPI background develop skills and build relationships that will aid them in their future fulfilling careers. Thanks to the program, I was able to lay the foundation for a stronger NHPI community in D.C.”
- Stanley Fie’eiki Jr., Salt Lake Community College placed at OCA National Center
✨ As part of the Annual Giving Campaign, OCA will be hosting a Leader Appreciation Reception to thank our donors in four cities: Los Angeles, Washington D.C., New York, and San Francisco. We would love to have you join us and celebrate our OCA's past and future together. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to Caroline Buaron ([email protected]) for more details.

“The OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship for Rising College Seniors enabled me to fully immerse in my thesis research this year. It was especially vital as this is a huge pivotal point in my undergraduate study and academic academic journey. As I delve into analytical chemistry, I am building an even stronger foundation toward my goal of becoming a biochemist!
- Lance Li, Georgetown University

“Thanks to the OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship for Graduating High School Seniors, I could afford the cost of attendance at UC Berkeley. I feel incredibly fortunate to have received both financial support and additional resources. An unexpected bonus of this scholarship was that I connected with another scholarship recipient at my school, and we have become very close!”
- Christine Doan, University of California, Berkeley
