Team — Earlier this week, Vice President Kamala Harris stopped by Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff to speak with the students about what’s really at stake for young people on the ballot next November.

In 2020, young Americans from all walks of life got up and showed up in record numbers to elect President Biden and Vice President Harris, demonstrating that our democracy is still strong and engaged, especially when its security is on the line.

Since then, our youngest generations have carved out their own paths and continue to lead us on bold and generational policies, including passing the most expansive climate investment this nation has ever seen.

Because of the energy of our young people in 2020, Democrats have been able to drop the cost of insulin, have seriously addressed student loan forgiveness, have passed the first meaningful gun safety legislation in over 30 years, and have made critical investments in our infrastructure to make communities greener, safer, and more connected. But all of this is at stake if we don’t get the job done again in 2024.

Folks — Next November, we’ll need young people in every county to show up again to ensure that we protect our fundamental rights and freedoms and safeguard our democracy from right-wing extremists.
