October might be LGBTQ History Month – but the reality is, we're in the middle of a difficult chapter for the LGBTQ community. There are nearly 500 anti-LGBTQ bills nationwide right now, most of which target transgender youth.

The ACLU is uniquely prepared to defend the rights of the LGBTQ community – we've done it for decades! And today, we're actively taking states across the country to court over their cruel laws.
