I’m excited to share two major victories that will boost Texas’ status as a national leader in 21st century industries and bring tens of thousands of jobs to our state.

ARPA-H Hub Launches at Pegasus Park in Dallas
The newest federal agency, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Customer Experience Hub officially just launched right here in Dallas and will begin lifesaving research. I led a bipartisan effort to help bring this biomedical research agency hub to North Texas and I’m so proud and excited to watch North Texans leading the way in developing cutting edge health technology.

Hydrogen Hub Coming to Texas
Last week, Texas was selected as the home to one of seven clean Hydrogen Hubs to be established across the country to kickstart the clean hydrogen economy. I was so proud to help pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to create this Hydrogen Hub and ensure our state continues to be a leading energy state as we take the necessary steps to protect our planet while growing our economy. Texas’ Gulf Coast Hydrogen Hub will create an estimated 45,000 jobs—35,000 in construction jobs and 10,000 permanent jobs– and will be centered in the Houston region and stretch along the Texas coast.

We can still do big things when we work together as Texans. I will continue to find common ground and bring investments home to our state. It is an honor to serve North Texas, where I was born and raised, and to deliver for our region.
