John,
We’ve all heard of trickle-down economics, but how about ‘trickle-up politics’?
“Trickle up politics” is when government leaders hone their skills at the local level then take them to the statehouse, governor’s mansion, or even to Congress.
The municipal level is where new leaders learn and develop the skills and experience that will impact our state and nation for years to come . It’s where they forge key relationships that enable them to achieve positive results in our communities.
It’s up to us, the voters, to decide what trickles up to Washington. It all starts at home.
Please join us in supporting the next generation of Democratic leaders this municipal election. Chip in today to help us reach voters and register new ones before Election Day! [[link removed]]

“Trickle-up politics” is one of the reasons why the municipal elections on Nov. 7 are so important. Not only are we electing the representatives who will impact our local communities, we’re choosing our state and national leaders of tomorrow.
Let’s make sure the best of Connecticut ‘trickles up’ to Hartford and to Washington, D.C. Please make your plan and vote; encourage your friends and family to vote too, and give what you can today to support Democratic candidates running this year! [[link removed]]
