In less than three weeks, voters in Virginia will head to the polls in one of the most consequential statewide elections in a generation. Reproductive health care, gun safety, climate policy and voting rights – all are on the ballot this November.

Here’s what you need to know:

take
control
of
state
government,
re-electing
their
majority
in
the
state
House
and
flipping
control
of
the
state
Senate.

Every
single
seat
in
the
state
Senate
and
House
is
on
the
ballot
this
November,
and
control
will
likely
come
down
to
a
few
key
districts.
*
If
Republicans
take
control,
they’re
all-but
guaranteed
to
pass
a
statewide
abortion
ban,
weaken
gun
laws
and
make
it
harder
to
vote
–
laying
the
groundwork
for
a
Republican
victory
in
the
2024
presidential
election.
