I am truly honored and humbled by the overwhelming support I received from the voters of California's 37th District last night. I look forward to earning your vote again in November and continuing our fight to expand affordable health care, to ensure that everyone who needs a home has access to one, and to guarantee that compassion is a part of our justice system.

Now that the California primary is over, it's time to direct 100% of our attention and energy towards keeping the House, taking the Senate and defeating Donald Trump in November.

Sometimes after primary contests there is a lull in momentum. Trump and his team are going to try to exploit that.
