Did you catch this email last week?
Hey,
Last week, we sent the email below to our environment list—which is full of young people who want updates on all things related to our climate. But we thought it was too important not to share with everyone in our network. [[link removed]]
Here’s a quick recap:
The Trump administration recently proposed changes to the National Environmental Policy Act or NEPA. Which means they’re once again attacking environmental policies instead of finding ways to combat climate change.
NEPA has been a critical tool in protecting communities from highways through their neighborhoods, pipelines on their borders, and oil and gas drilling next to their schools. But Trump wants to change that.
The good news is, we can still oppose the changes to the rule. But we only have until March 10 to submit comments.
Take 15 seconds and make your voice heard today. Tell the Council on Environmental Quality that young people want a thorough, transparent environmental review process. [[link removed]]
And if you’ve already submitted a comment, forward this to five friends for an even bigger impact.

John,
Not sure if you heard, but the Trump administration is at it again. They’ve started yet another attack on environmental policies that are meant to combat climate change. This time it’s the National Environmental Policy Act, or NEPA.
Here’s a little background:
NEPA requires considerations of environmental impact for all new infrastructure projects. Which means regular people like us get to have a voice when it comes to approving projects that may impact our communities. [[link removed]]
It also keeps companies in check, forcing them to have both environmental and community impact at the forefront of their planning process.
Unfortunately, the Chair of Trump’s Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), Mary Neumayr, recently proposed changes to the statute that would completely undermine the law and change the way agencies complete environmental reviews. This would put big business interests ahead of healthy and safe communities.
We know this is wrong. And we have to stop them. We only have until March 10 to flood CEQ with comments opposing the changes. [[link removed]]

NEPA has been a critical tool in protecting communities from highways through their neighborhoods, pipelines on their borders, and oil and gas drilling next to their schools. Now, the Trump administration wants to change that.
Your voice is needed. Tell the Council on Environmental Quality that young people want a thorough, transparent environmental review process [[link removed]] —not one that hurts our communities and climate.
Thanks for being in this fight,
