John, I'm proud to be known as Congress's OG progressive.

For those who don't know what OG means, it's not original genius but original gangster – and I didn't win that title overnight. It was won through years of struggling as a Black woman in a system built against me and then years of working within the system to ensure that folks after me would be better off. It was won through years of never wavering on my stances for LBGTQ+ equality, economic inequality, reproductive rights and more. 

Now, I'm running to take my fight for progress to the Senate, but I can only get there with your support. There are only five months left before the primary, and now is the real time to push.

John, I'm proud to have the support of progressive champions across the country, including Ro Khanna, Stacey Abrams, Pramila Jayapal and Ayanna Pressley. And I'm endlessly inspired by this grassroots team and the movement we're building together. We've come so far already, and a better future truly feels within our reach – but we have a serious problem.

Last quarter, I was outraised by the others in this race. And, to make matters worse, Black women in politics tend to raise just one-third of the amount that white candidates raise.

Listen, John, I always knew that I wouldn't have as much money as my peers – but I joined this race because I know that we can still win this. I don't need the most in this race, I only need enough resources to compete – and you can help me with that. So I'm humbly asking:
