URGENT ACTION NEEDED: The last of Florida’s precious manatees are being pushed
closer to EXTINCTION by the greedy Big Cruise industry! Take action now >>

Manatees are one of the most beloved creatures of the sea, known for their large
size and friendly demeanor. But these serene, gentle giants are being threatened by rampant cruise ship pollution in their native Florida waters, and we’re running out of time to help save them.
While these vulnerable animals are already dying out in RECORD NUMBERS, massive
cruise vessels continue to recklessly spew out dirty emissions into the atmosphere and dump toxic waste into the ocean — contributing to irreparable habitat loss and drastic lack of food supply for
manatees. In fact, we’ve already lost 25% of the entire manatee population in the last two years alone — nearing 2,000 manatee deaths!
Friend, the situation is dire — manatees might soon
disappear forever if we don’t take urgent action. Your voice today could help determine the fate of these precious marine
animals. Will you speak up right now in defense of manatees and help protect them from
being WIPED OUT by Big Cruise’s corporate greed?

[[link removed]]Manatees depend on a plant called seagrass as their main food source — without it, they cannot survive. Due to the decimation of seagrass beds in part due to corporate cruise
pollution, manatees are rapidly dying of STARVATION. Many of them are even DROWNING TO DEATH because they aren’t getting enough nutrients to keep them fat enough to remain
afloat.
Seagrass isn’t just vital for manatees, but it also plays a key role in
protecting our planet by curbing climate change and keeping our ocean ecosystems
healthy. The ocean provides at least HALF of all the Earth’s oxygen, and seagrass itself stores almost ⅕ of the whole world’s ocean carbon!
But despite all of the environmental benefits of this essential plant,
profit-driven cruise corporations are more concerned with their bottom line.
Dirty, toxic wastewater from cruise ships dump contaminants into manatee
habitat, harming water quality and contributing to algal blooms that become so
thick they block sunlight and prevent seagrass growth.
Unless the Environmental Protection Agency steps up immediately to STOP out-of-control cruise ship pollution, there could be catastrophic consequences to our oceans, marine life, nearby coastal
communities, AND the entire planet. But we still need 4,397 more activist signatures by our 11:59 P.M. deadline if
we’re going to persuade the EPA to hold Big Cruise accountable. Can we count on
you to add your name while there’s still time, Friend?
