Good afternoon, John –
As the Texas Legislature continues the third special session this year, Texans are looking for reliable news about what’s happening in Austin… and what they can do about it.
Like all politicians, legislators are good at putting out carefully crafted statements that convey a specific message – true or not. They’re good at holding press conferences, sending fundraising letters, or giving speeches making it sound like they did everything they could to fight for Texans while they were in the Capitol.
Unfortunately, most legislators are not so good at telling you the truth about what’s going on behind closed doors in Austin.
They don’t like to tell you they secretly killed a bill millions of Texans wanted to see passed. And they definitely don’t want to tell you that they only worked for a few hours last week.
But because of the donations of people like you [[link removed]], Texas Scorecard can reveal those secrets and more!
Texans continue to suffer from legislative inaction. Property taxes continue to rise, government schools keep pushing radical agendas on our children, and the southern border remains wide open.
Thankfully, citizens are not just sitting back and waiting for lawmakers to tell them lies. Citizens have gotten involved! Texans are speaking up and speaking out. It is driving the cronies in Austin crazy that citizens now know the score, and are taking action as a result.
Texas Scorecard is here to provide the truth about who is actually working to advance the citizens’ conservative agenda. If you chip in $70, $45, or even $20 today, we can share the truth with more Texans! [[link removed]]

This special session is almost half over. Lawmakers need to know that their actions (or inactions!) over the next two weeks are being weighed by the pople of Texas. We need your help to make sure as many Texans as possible are informed about what’s going on [[link removed]].
Real Texans are making a real difference. Thank you for being part of it!
For Texas,
Michael Quinn Sullivan
P.S. Because of people like you, citizens can know who is (or isn't!) working to advance the conservative agenda during this special session. Can you give $45 to help us reach even more people? [[link removed]]
