My colleagues across the aisle will do whatever they can to hold the House majority in 2024, and make no mistake – Pennsylvania is a critical piece of their plan.
The contrast between this Congress and the last is clear. When House Democrats held the majority, we led by passing policies to help all Americans:
- Updated our infrastructure
- Lowered healthcare costs for seniors
- Made major investments in green energy solutions
The GOP majority, on the other hand?
- The first Speaker of the House to take 15 rounds of voting to be elected
- The first Speaker to be voted out in American history – leaving Congress unable to function
- The latest government funding is slated to run out in just under a month – with the GOP divided and no clear path forward, leaving millions of Americans unsure of the future
The truth is, with my colleagues across the aisle in the majority, we’re dangerously close to total dysfunction. That’s why on the campaign trail we must do all that we can to win handily here in the Fourth District.
