Friend,
We have exciting new House races to tell you about:
Andrei Cherny (AZ-1), Christina Bohannan (IA-1), Gabe Amo (RI-1), and Monica Tranel (MT-1) are now on GiveGreen and need your support to defeat their anti-environment opponents.
All four of these races are incredible opportunities that will be essential to taking back the pro-environment majority in the House next year — but since they are running against polluter-backend opponents, they will need the support of climate donors like you to push them to victory!
We have seen over the past couple months how chaotic the House is under an anti-environment majority — we must flip the chamber next year to ensure we have real climate leadership. These four races could be critical in flipping the majority!
Are you all in to flip the House next year? Then please help elect Andrei Cherny, Christina Bohannan, Gabe Amo, and Monica Tranel by donating to their campaigns through GiveGreen today!
Andrei Cherny is running to represent Arizona's 1st district. He has spent much of his life dedicated to fighting the climate crisis and protecting our democracy and founded a sustainable investing firm that has planted over 100 million trees around the world while helping millions move personal bank deposits away from institutions that used their deposits to fund oil and gas pipelines and drilling.
Christina Bohannan is running to represent Iowa's 1st district. She has a degree in environmental engineering from the University of Florida and began her career as an environmental engineer working to protect clean water. A former Iowa state legislator, she served on the Natural Resources Committee and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Natural Resources. She sponsored legislation on solar energy tax credits, testing for lead in water at schools and childcare facilities, and lead and copper testing in county water systems.
Gabe Amo is running to represent Rhode Island's 1st district. He has spent his career in public service — having worked for Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, and former Governor and current Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. In Congress, he will be committed to swift and equitable implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act to address climate change and create clean energy jobs.
Monica Tranel is running to represent Montana's 1st district. A former staff attorney for the Montana Public Service Commission, she is running to achieve an equitable transition to a clean energy future, invest in farmers and fossil fuel communities during the transition, increase climate resiliency, protect clean air, expand access to public transportation, and protect our public lands.
Winning back a pro-environment majority in the House means we need to compete and win in every corner of the country, starting with these four races: Donate to their campaigns through GiveGreen today to help them win!
Thanks for all that you do, friend,
Gene Karpinski
