					President Biden journeyed to Israel on a “solidarity visit” Wednesday and pledged continued American support, including a new security aid package. Pro-Hamas extremists are flooding social media platforms with calls for attacks on Jewish communities and other targets in the U.S. and Europe, prompting law enforcement agencies to step up their readiness postures amid deep concerns about possible violence. The FBI’s annual Hate Crimes Report once again lists Jews on the receiving end of the most hate crimes of any religious group.

					Biden to Seek ‘Unprecedented’ Israel Aid Package; Pledges $100 million for Humanitarian Relief in Gaza and West Bank

					“President Joe Biden reaffirmed America’s commitment to Israel on Wednesday in Tel Aviv, where he blamed a deadly hospital blast on militants inside Gaza.’ Based on the information we’ve seen to date, it appears it was a result of an errant rocket fired by a terrorist group in Gaza,’ he said. 					Hamas is Barred From Social Media. Its Messages Are Still Spreading

					“Hamas is barred from Facebook, removed from Instagram and run off TikTok. Yet posts supporting the group that carried out terrorist attacks in Israel this month are still reaching mass audiences on social networks, spreading gruesome footage and political messages to millions of people. Several accounts sympathetic to Hamas have gained hundreds of thousands of followers across social platforms since the war between Israel and Hamas began on Oct. 7, according to a review by The New York Times.“ The New York Times:

					Jews Again Faced the Most Hate Crimes of Any Religious Group in 2022, FBI Reports

					“Last year, American Jews again faced far more hate crimes than members of other religions, according to a report by the FBI. There were 1,305 offenses committed against Jews in 2022, the FBI reported in its tally Monday of national crime statistics, far outnumbering the second-largest category, anti-Muslim crimes, of which there were 205. That disparity is consistent with years of hate crimes reporting showing that Jewish victims far outnumber other religious targets.” JTA: FULL STORY
