I came to this country at 14 and worked for minimum wage at a doughnut shop, so I know the value of hard work. I know that with hard work, determination, and the grassroots support of people like you — we’ll elect someone who’s proof of the American dream as Florida’s next U.S. senator.

But I need to be frank about what’s ahead of us: Rick Scott has already sunk millions of dollars of his own money into his campaign. I simply will not be able to compete without grassroots resources. That's why my team and I have set a weekly $50,000 goal to ensure we can fight Scott’s wealth, build our campaign, and win.
