John,
Across the United States, people of all faiths and ethnicities are rallying and walking out of schools to demand a ceasefire—including tens of thousands of Jewish Americans protesting in Washington DC.
But our political leaders are not yet acting with the urgency to save lives. Many are ignoring Palestinians’ humanity, and many are encouraging the ongoing massacre of Palestinian civilians. Twice this week, the U.S. vetoed United Nations resolutions calling for a ceasefire and for humanitarian aid access to Gaza.
As we watch a devastating genocide unfold against millions of people trapped in Gaza, we need many more Americans in communities across the country calling for a ceasefire right now.

If you’re near Washington DC: Progressive groups are organizing a mass mobilization in DC tomorrow for a ceasefire.
Thank you for taking action and spreading the word. Together we must do all we can to save lives and honor our shared humanity.
In solidarity,
Rashida
