This campaign raised 3x as much from small-dollar donations in Q3 as any other campaign in this 20-candidate race.

Friend—When Q3 fundraising numbers went public last week, it became clear that this campaign is the people’s choice to succeed Adam Schiff in CA-30.

Over the past quarter, we raised more than three times as much as any other candidate in donations under $200. Out of 20 candidates for this seat, we now sit at a close second in small-dollar fundraising, just behind a longtime state officeholder.

This campaign is growing fast and strong; while other candidates fade in their fundraising, our momentum only grows.

This 100% grassroots, people-powered campaign can win. But we can only do it with your help.

Look at the right-most columns of the CA-30 fundraising sheet. Some of these candidates are relying on hundreds of thousands of dollars in large, maxed-out donations.

Our campaign has received 90% of its funds from donations under $200.

My opponents will spend big to look like the only option, but we have a head start: over 60,000 votes for this district in 2022.

People here know the name Maebe—let’s make sure they know what I stand for.

If you can make another under-$200 donation, great! This grassroots power is the heart of our campaign and we need as much support as we can get from ordinary, working-class people like you to win.

If you can contribute over $200—give me a call! Let’s chat over how to best make use of the money and make sure voters hear the message for our intersectional, humanitarian campaign loud and clear. Reply to this email and I’ll reach out.

Most members of Congress are funded by high-value contributions—only a few members (Bernie Sanders, AOC) are able to raise even half of their funds from sub-$200 donations.

The fact that we’re able to stay competitive with such a grassroots campaign is a testament to how working-class, community-driven Americans are ready for a people’s champion in Congress.

I’m fighting for you: for housing, healthcare, education, and protection against discrimination and violence.

We have just a few months left to get out the word—I am honored to have all of you on my side.

In solidarity,

Maebe Pudlo
