John, it’s been 16 days without a Speaker of the House. Republicans clearly need a math lesson:

You may have heard of girl math, but here’s some Republican math for you:

❌ Far-right extremists hold your party hostage and throw the House into chaos preventing any work from getting done = “It’s Democrats’ fault!”

❌ Don’t mathematically have the votes to win a majority and become Speaker? Losing support on every new vote? = Keep going!

❌ Lost the Electoral College by 74 votes? = “Trump won the 2020 election!”

We feel bad for these guys, we really do. It’s hard to count to 217 on your fingers.
