I know -- with so much partisan division in Washington, it can often feel like Congress is at a standstill rather than working for Americans.

But I made a promise to work together to get things done for New Jersey families. And I'm making good on that promise.

Before Congress left for the summer, the House and Senate passed legislation that I led that reauthorizes funding for critical family health information centers.

These centers are invaluable resources for families across New Jersey and the country that have children with special health care needs. They help families navigate our often complicated and confusing health care system and learn about treatments and services that they might not otherwise know are available to them.

And now, we're even closer to securing funding for the health information centers for another five years.
