Hi Friend, it’s Betsy, Nikki’s campaign manager.

A couple things were made extremely clear last week – Nikki Haley’s momentum is real and growing. In an increasingly chaotic world, Americans are looking for a strong leader who will provide the moral clarity, stability, and confidence for the future of our great nation.

More and more, voters are looking at the fact that we can’t elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for another term. Republicans have lost the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections, and we certainly can’t afford to lose again in 2024. Nikki is the only candidate who can DEFEAT Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and make America strong and proud again. We’re hustling every day to make that happen.

I want to take a minute to give you the rundown from last week. Whether it was surging in the polls, new endorsements, or incredible swings in New Hampshire and Iowa – last week showed our strong momentum. Be sure to check out my memo below.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY UPDATE AS OF 10/17/2023:

NEW POLLING UPDATE:

This week, a new poll was released that not only showed Nikki SURGING in the early voting state polls, it also showed Nikki STOMPING on Biden in the national polls by 4 points!

If the general election were to take place today, Nikki would be the ONLY candidate who could decisively defeat Biden in a head-to-head match-up. That’s why it’s so important that we continue the hard work, keep the momentum going, and amplify Nikki’s message across America.

FUNDRAISING NUMBERS:

Another sign of Nikki’s growing momentum is reflected in her most recent fundraising numbers.

This past week, we announced that Nikki raised more than $11 MILLION over the last three months of the campaign. This number outpaces Nikki’s impressive first and second quarter fundraising numbers, and it brings her total fundraising to $26 million from more than 100,000 donors since launch of the campaign.

NEW ENDORSEMENT:

Last week, Will Hurd announced he was ending his campaign for president and getting behind Nikki.Immediately after he dropped out of the race, he praised Nikki and gave her his endorsement.

“Our nation deserves a leader who can unite us and navigate the complex challenges we face, particularly on national security. Ms. Haley is the best person in this race to do that. I encourage donors, fellow candidates, Republican elected officials, conservative influencers and anyone worried about our republic to support her too.”

IOWA SWING:
Nikki started off last week in the Hawkeye State with three town halls at a school in Sioux City, at a local soda fountain and coffee house in Ida Grove, and then at a farm in Boone.

We are in crunch time with the first votes taking place in Iowa on January 15!

The good news is, Nikki has DOUBLED her support in the Iowa polls in the last few weeks and the momentum will continue to rise. But, it’s critical that we ramp up events, voter outreach efforts, and amplify Nikki’s message even further than before in order to WIN!

But Nikki’s never done racking up the miles in Iowa. She’ll be back this week for more town halls and campaign stops.

NEW HAMPSHIRE SWING:
Nikki wrapped up another incredible swing in New Hampshire this week where she didn’t miss a beat. Between two town halls, a speech at the First in the Nation Leadership Summit, and even meeting with a group of 4th graders, Nikki was rocking it in the Granite State.

But, that’s not all. This trip was extra special because Nikki also filed for the New Hampshire primary ballot!

We’re excited for every Granite Stater to get their chance to cast their ballot for Nikki in just a few short months!

UPDATE ON OUR GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT:
Right now, Washington is filled with division, drama, and chaos, rather than solutions. Democrats are failing our country, but they're not the only ones to blame. It’s up to everyone in Washington – Democrats and Republicans – to put the people over politics and get to work.

Thankfully, we have an answer to fixing Washington’s chaos problem – electing Nikki Haley as our next President.

It’s never been more clear that now’s the time to leave the drama of the past behind and rally around a new generation of leadership.
