  • Next week, on October 24th, 25th, and 26th at 2pm I will be hosting this year's Virtual Senior Resource Fair.


  • On October 31st, I will be hosting an in-person Town Hall at Carnegie Hall on Key Policy Issues and the Upcoming 2024 Legislative Session.


  • On October 25th, at 6pm, Assembly Member Alex Bores will be hosting an in-person Town Hall at CUNY Graduate Center.

Many older adults in the City are solo agers, but that doesn’t mean you have to live a life alone. Learn about resources for solo agers and building community.

Caring For Caregivers

According to AARP, there are 2.2 million family caregivers in New York State doing difficult work, often alone. Learn about the impacts caregiver burden has on your physical and mental health, and how to find support.

Nature and the Environment

Learn about the wonderful natural resources we have in New York City, and about caring for our urban environment and advocating for a green planet.

Join us on Tuesday October 31st for Senator Krueger’s first in person Town Hall since 2020!

 

Senator Krueger will discuss key policy issues and her legislative priorities for the 2024 legislative session. The Senator and her guests will cover a range of issues, including the protection of our civil liberties, the environment and climate change, as well as tenants’ rights and new housing production. Treat bags will be available for all attendees. Dress festively if you choose, or come in New York City attire, which includes basic black - always in season.

  • Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney
  • State Senator Pete Harckham, Chair, Senate Committee on Environmental Conservation
  • Barika Williams, Executive Director of the Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development (ANHD)

 

The event will feature a question and answer session moderated by Senator Krueger, with Alvin Bragg, State Senator Pete Harckham, and Barika Williams.
